Discussion

This was a rectangular spit, excavated to define the relationship between Grubenhaus 012AD07057 and ditch 012AD07223. The material removed was a sandy silty loam (Munsell colour 10YR 4/3). The relationship was not clear, although it is believed that the Grubenhaus cut the ditch.
